Love love love this place. After only one visit I'm sold! I stopped in here for lunch recently. As the name states, it is most certainly a little diner but they have lots of delicious BBQ options waiting inside! Vintage photo upholstered barstool seating up at the counter and a massive pig collection of various items along the whole place.
Service was excellent. My server was relaxed, personable, and made a recommendation on BBQ sauce when I said which ones I was leaning towards, as there are quite a few on the menu.
I ordered a "Double Oink and Moo," which is a burger with bacon and pulled pork on it. Comes with chips & a pickle but I added a side of bacon ranch mac salad. That was the one thing I wouldn't order again, it wasn't awesome. My burger however was fantastic and the pulled pork was great. I used the Sweet Chipotle sauce which was a 3 on the 5 rating scale for heat, and it was delicious but I probably wouldn't venture past a 3 on their products personally as that was adequate for my taste. Most BBQ sauces were in the 2 range anyway.
The portions were excellent, and I left very full and really eager to come here again sometime. -

How is it that this joint has been open for five years and I just found it yesterday? At least I found it.
I was searching Yelp last eve for a new place to check out with a buddy for dinner. I came across the Smokin' Little Diner and saw great reviews so... we went. What a pleasant surprise!
Imagine a BBQ joint in a 50's diner and this is the place.
We walked in and were promptly greeted by the staff who told us to sit anywhere. I have to say the staff have great attitudes. They're friendly and were very helpful in pointing out customer favourites as we were first timers.
I ordered the Hawg Wings which are nice meaty thick ribs with your choice of BBQ sauce. I didn't realize I had to choose a BBQ sauce and couldn't choose so I panicked and chose "original." It wasn't a bad choice at all. They came out perfectly smoked and grilled. You can get a plate with either three or four Hawg Wings. I chose three and I'm glad I did. When I got done I was stuffed. I never would have been able to finish four. They come with fries but of course I had to go with extra grease and swapped them out for onion rings. You also get 1 side, I got the slaw just to make sure I was eating a veggie.
My friend got the Barnyard Insanity Oink Cluck and Moo. This is a cheese burger with both pulled pork and pulled chicken served on a bun with a few hearty onion rings on top. When it came out it was huge, towering even. He enjoyed it although finishing it wasn't possible.
This is a very casual place without a ton of seating. It wasn't busy when we were there but I can see it getting packed at times.
Great casual ambience, tremendously friendly staff and awesome BBQ. If you haven't tried it, do yourself a favor and do so! This is one of those hidden gem's of WNY. -

Went to this cute 50s original diner for the first time last night for breakfast dinner! It was excellent. Great service to boot! Loved it, we'll be back for sure!l 9 tables each sitting four, so seating for 36 people. I can imagine this place getting packed out on weekend mornings especially. Go try it out!

They don't smoke anything here, except for maybe crack because they named a restaurant that smokes absolutely NOTHING "Smokin" Little Diner."
Their pulled pork is totally standard pork you can make in a Crock-Pot - sauces are far too sweet. The baked beans are out of a can. The best thing was the fried chicken but it had soggy skin under the fried coating. Honestly I wouldn't come back. The only pro is that it's super cheap and mostly edible if you lower your standards down to paying someone for opening a can of beans for ya. -

First timers, glad we found this tiny gem. I had a pulled pork sammy with mello madarin sauce and my partner had hawg wings with sweet chipotle sauce. Took chocolate creme and strawberry rhubarb pie home for later. Will be back- the breakfast looks great, as did the mac and cheese.
